Ben Whishaw's agent has confirmed that he will be playing Q in the upcoming James Bond 007 film, Skyfall. Q is short of Quartermaster and he has been the man responsible for providing 007 with all of the latest gadgetry throughout the films. This is the first time Daniel Craig's 007 will see Q as he has not made an appearance in Casino Royale and Quantum of Solace. Will this mean that we will see M's secretary Miss Moneypenny?
Whishaw will be the youngest actor to ever take on the role of the Quartermaster. In the past, Peter Burton, Desmond Llywellon and John Cleese have also taken on the role.
Whishaw has worked with Daniel Craig before in Layer Cake and also Enduring Love.
