Ian Fleming Camp X - Whitby Ontario, Canada

Not too many people are aware that Ian Fleming, the creator of James Bond, spent some time at the mysterious Camp X during World War II in Canada.  Ian Fleming worked as British Naval Intelligence during the war and made it to the rank of Commander the same rank as the fictional secret agent character he created.

Camp X was a Top Secret spy school during the war and was located in Whitby, Ontario, a stones throw east of Toronto.

Today, Ian Fleming Cres. and other signs related to James Bond can be found in the location.
